Yes,
Gifts of Love is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, charitable organization and
all donations are fully tax deductible.
How is the money that I donate used?
Gifts
of Love has many projects underway, as well
as ideas for many more!! Most commonly a donation is made to the
general Gifts of Love fund and applied to projects approved by our
Board Members. Projects can be submitted by anyone, but ultimately they
must be approved by our Board. Since we are a small organization, we
can work with a donor to understand what their specific desires are.
Does Gifts of Love use volunteers?
Yes! The
entire staff of Gifts of Love is volunteers. There are no paid
employees. Currently our volunteer work ranges from the Officers and
Board Members of Gifts of Love, to assistance with grant writing, fund
raisers, computer installation, holiday letter writing, art work and
general labor. Since we are a small organization, we depend on
our volunteers to come up with creative ideas and to mastermind the
funding and implementation of these ideas.

What
is the service area for Gifts of Love?
At
the present time, our projects have primarily serviced the Birmingham,
AL area. A large portion of our work has been focused on projects at
the Brookwood NICU. We have also assisted a family at the Children's
Hospital of Birmingham and members of other Birmingham area NICUs.
Can I make a donation for (in honor of) a
specific baby?
Yes,
there are various types of donations that you can make. See
